Members of Lacan Toronto are teaching in several different venues. First is in the Teaching Program of Lacan Toronto; dates, times, places and teachers are listed under the main heading Teaching: sub-heading Lacan Toronto Teaching Program. There is no charge for these sessions and registration is not required.
The next is in Extension Programs of the Toronto Psychoanalytic Society and the Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis, details of which are listed under their respective headings. There will be charges for these courses and pre-registration is required, on the relevant websites.
These courses are meant to be accessible to those interested in Lacanian studies who have much or little prior knowledge. The emphasis will be on the clinical applications of the concepts presented, and discussions and other forms of participation will be encouraged. Bibliographies will be provided and discussed. Translations of many of the seminars are in book form, and can be ordered from a wide range of online bookstores.
